Immingham Town Plan - Community Ideas

Hello!

Immingham Town Council, supported by North East Lincolnshire Council, has been engaging with residents to find out what they love most about Immingham and what they think would make Immingham a better place.

Using all the information we have gathered so far from our initial online survey, focus groups, and school and community events, key themes and ideas have emerged. This is your opportunity to tell us whether you agree with them and to share any ideas of your own.

All the information will be collated and included in the Immingham Town Plan. This plan will help the Town Council to ensure future projects and decisions are community-led, and will also help to inform how the £20 million Pride In Place funding, which has been awarded to Immingham and Habrough, will be spent over the next ten years.

On Friday, 24th October, there will be an open event held at the Civic Centre, Immingham, for people to come and see the ideas we have had so far and to share any other ideas. If you cannot attend this event, you can share your ideas via this survey.

What we know so far

The overwhelming response from the people that we spoke to was that Immingham has a strong sense of Community.
It is a place where everyone looks out for one another and Immingham has been home for many people for many generations.

Many residents feel that Immingham is the 'forgotten town' and welcome investment and regeneration, for the place and for the people.

These are key things and some of the ideas that have been shared with us so far from residents:
